Some people get saved & still listen to whatever is on the radio.. Have you considered Christian media or Gospel music?  I met a lady once that was suffering from depression. She tried all conventional methods to shake it. Church was her last hope.. I asked many questions to get to the heart of it but her life was chill, nothing major going on.  Last thing was her music of choice…”what’s on the radio.”  Break up songs, song degrading woman.  It was damaging her subconscious mind or you could say her inner most parts of her brain without her realizing it. She began to listen to Christ centered music & in time the depression went away. This is why God wants us to tune into Heaven jams because that is where we are going to.. No Kanye West or wordly jams beyond the pearl gates. Tune into hope & praise & tune out the junk & live a better quality of life. ~Pastor Pete 

The day you stop courting is a day closer to ending up in court.  Divorce court.  Too busy?  You must make the time for date nite & make it special for each other.  These are our orders & duty & privilege before God & man. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.”

Your mind’s eye is that which Jesus speaks of. Translated from Greek, the word ‘good’ means ‘clear’ or ‘healthy’. In verse 23, the word goes on to say that if your eye is bad, or viewing the unhealthy, the darkness, the evil you are filling yourself with darkness.  This is how folks get on the dark paths in life. The mind births sin thought & then the flesh follows the worldly flow & Satan encourages sin from the shadows.. Beware & be master of your thoughts/feelings. Here we learn from the ultimate teacher that we should NEVER be a prisoner to our thoughts or feelings. If u have no hope then u have given into your inner desires. We need to look to God’s word with a clear & healthy thinking mind to be filled with true joy & true peace.  Be still & know (He is) God.  When u can’t get to a Bible, think on what Paul said in Philippians 4:8 NIV, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.” ~Pastor Pete aka DJ one3

“Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.”

Look up and focus up on our Lord & Savior. So often our focus is on the earthly mess we are stuck in. There is no hope there. No solution. We need only to look up, pray & praise toward where we are going. Heaven is the promised land not this broken place. It’s not where you are at but where you are going. “He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, And He will pay back what he has given.”

So, a person on the street approaches you for money..”Say mister..you got any change?”  You do have cash in pocket this day… So what do you do? Sadly, I’ve seen what happens in most cases if you just hand them money.. it goes to drug dealers or a liquor store for activities that are destructive to the life you hoped to bless. So what’s the solution? Jesus is our example.. He would never spot someone cash & walk the other way.. could you imagine Him doing that friend? That’s just not Jesus character to do that. What if you gave that person in need his or her immediate need… food? I always ask what they would like to eat, go get it & bring it back so they can fill their belly. While eating we talk about life & eternal happiness, their other needs, how the local church can help..yes a witness. Personal touch is always preferred. If they don’t want food then, chances are that donation will go to the problem..& you are free to keep stepping. Satan will have less fuel if we cut off his funding. God’s will is fulfilled when we reflect Christ & His endless love to our fellow man.~ Pastor Pete aka DJ one3
