Ecc. 3:1, 7 “There is a time for everything, & a season for every activity under heaven: a time to tear & a time to mend, a time to be silent & a time to speak”

It’s on us when prayer, heaping hot coals & turning the other cheek has yielded no results. Sounds wrong to some.. please let me explain. There is a biblical balance so hang in there all the way through.

In life, sometimes we must pick our poison when caught between two undesired choices. On one hand we want to step back, pray & let Jesus do His thing. And we don’t want to ever step on the Holy Spirit’s toes when it comes to that. On the other hand we want to take care of it ourselves however, we really don’t like confrontation, Amen? So, put simply it’s ‘let go’ or ‘hold on to it.’ Remember, all things are about balance in our walk as Christians. The answer to the equation: Both are correct.. self agenda must be subtracted.

Example: Let’s say a friend is doing something that hurts you everytime you see them. You choose to pray & give it to God but it’s been a long while … no change. Prayers begin responsibilities. Speak up in love & at a normal tone of voice & state what’s in-between you & him/her (Mat. 18:15). Does it mean God ignored your request? No. Clearly life is meant to be lived. God doesn’t want you to go on being hurt but to live by way of speaking up. In a world of impersonal social media things like phone calls & face time are almost unheard of. Don’t you think this gives place for the devil?
Lack of or no communication is Satan’s playground. His specialty. Opening & keeping open the lines of communication is what we are supposed to be doing to derail the enemy. It’s so much easier to let go ..but how will that offending brother or sister ever grow if they don’t know? As humans we tend to avoid drama & confronting things. Be tactful. Be gentle.. but out with it.

“Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” Col. 4:6

Consider you keep it to yourself & let that person keep on hurting you. We are mankind & not god. After a while we get feelings & if feelings go unchecked.. like a volcano it builds up until it explodes. May turn into harsh words or violence. Self control is a fruit of the spirit therefore we must keep it in check to insure self control is the end result. Faith without works is dead. Pray the Holy Spirit speak right through you when you speak to your offender.. Don’t let the day end before you confront in love because as it is written..

Ephesians 4:26 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry”

Jesus died so that we could live. He surely didn’t do so for us to remain silent thereby giving place for fights. Pray about it. ~Pastor Pete

Colossians 3:13 “Make allowance for each other’s faults, & forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” NLT

Many years back, when I was a new believer & hit the ground running with Gospel missionary work.  My wife & I were a package deal so she was by my side throughout.  The hardest part, for myself was leaving behind my precious brothers & sisters at church.  After a long deployment in God’s army I came back to church, just myself due to my wife was feeling ill that morning. I was greeted warmly & everyone asked, “So where is your wife today?” I replied with the simple ‘oh, not feeling 100% today so she’s home & healing.’ Bible study & worship with familiar faces was so refreshing.

Uneventful right? Just wait..  The following week I returned for services solo (my wife was helping her mother who was having health issues) however, this time I was met by angry faces. Even the elderly ladies were mad dogging me.  No one would speak to me. Every once in a while someone would pass by & whisper ‘I feel so bad for you.’ Or, ‘I’m praying for your situation.’ Or ‘You should be ashamed.’ I was perplexed. What’s going on?

I pulled a good friend outside & quizzed him on ‘what I was going through..’ because I had not a flippin’ clue.  Everyone has my number. No calls from church folk all what was up to cause such a negative response?

He angrily exclaimed, “You lied to everybody about your divorce when you were here last week. I can’t believe you would cheat on, mistreat her & then throw her out of your house like that.”

I was taken back. Scratched my head.
“Come ..come again?” Was my reply.

Yes, the old gossips were at it.  They had run a week long campaign on why my wife was ‘really not there.’ In addition to that they added some juicy details as special effects to make this epic sci-fi tale drama a sure hit. Worthy of a Soap Opera award.  Funny thing was, my wife & I were happy together & had a, rare great & peaceful week.

You see friends, because of tolerance for gossip the church can never experience the joy of a surprise party.. Joking aside, it is hurtful to engage in this activity. Not only for the hearer but it causes division within the body of Christ.  The bible warns us to turn off the flow (see Proverbs 10:19).  Don’t fall into the trap of listening. When the slimy story starts, change the subject or point them in the direction of the person they’re speaking about.

*What if you’re the victim? Jesus is our best example. Oh, them gossip folk spoke on Him too. Our Lord was accused of being illegitimate, a drunk, a glutton & even an agent of satan.  He usually ignored the ridiculous accusations, lived life & pressed on in kingdom work in such a way that no one would listen to that mess.  If anyone throws mud at you, it will look a lot worse if you try to wipe it off. Just keep on living in the light of God’s glory & it will dry & fall off without stain.

Back in the old testament, Nehemiah was a victim of a smear campaign as well.  Sanballat & his homies tried to use a gossip letter to discourage Nehemiah from doing God’s work.  Nehemiah gave them the vapors. He didn’t even give them the time of day.  He just pressed forward in doing what the Lord wanted him to do.

He said this to the gossip folk’s tabloid spin, “I am doing a great work, so I cannot come down. Why should the work cease, while I leave it & go down to you?” Neh. 6:3

Participating in gossip makes you come down to the gossip folk’s low level when you think about it.  Tabloid theology only serves to aid the enemy & divide God’s forces. Bringing a virus of mean spiritedness, division & confusion only seeks to derail what God has commissioned each & everyone of us to do. It’s forgiveness, coming from all parties effected that is the key to healing once the damage is done. None of us are perfect, God’s got that alone.

*Don’t feel you need to be the one to apologize?  It’s contrary to our sinful nature & our flesh crawls at the thought of giving up an apology. But Jesus says to love on our enemy.. we tend to forget that. Also, if we want His forgiveness we must forgive others.  Yes, all need to make nice & reconcile both to each other and ultimately God for the offense.  There is a world out there that needs Jesus. They need to hope and heal. No angel was given this duty. No, not even one. It’s on us!  If we are distracted with fights & licking our own wounds just how are we suppose to do that kingdom work exactly? Don’t fall in the pit of backbitting, rumors & slander my brothers & sisters. Get your great commission on instead. In John 17, Jesus prayed that this not be so. He basically said if the believers are fighting the world won’t believe the Father sent Jesus. Perhaps that is why unbelief is on a roll in this generation. Just maybe overcoming this error will be the aid or solution to that ill. If you are a third party to an issue between two brothers and/or sisters.. please steer them into one another so it does not escalate & have it’s destruction. 3 or more is a crowd. If you are offended or hurt, don’t assume, call that person or better yet go out for coffee & have it out until the issue is squashed.  God don’t like ugly. Therefore be about unity. There is a special blessing that comes from brothers & sisters that unify. See Psalm 133. If I offend anyone at anytime, I’m sorry. I have an opinion, yes & I try to tread lite but my mouth gets the better of me on occasion. Lord help us all to be what You made us to be & be more like Christ. Amen! »Pastor Pete

1Timothy 5:20-21 Those who sin should be reprimanded in front of the whole church; this will serve as a strong warning to others. I solemnly command you in the presence of God & Christ Jesus & the highest angels to obey these instructions without taking sides or showing favoritism to anyone. (NLT)

Did the bible really say that? Yes. We should correct in love & Jesus gave guidelines for that in Mat. 18:15-17 when a fellow believer falls into sin with no shame or sense of responsibility. When this is the case & the sin is done publicly then & only then is it time to rebuke publicly. To humiliate? To separate? To harm the person in error? A thousand times no.

The action of public rebuke is to prevent the error to spread like a virus within the community. Infecting it & taking other fellow Christians down as well. Think of the alternative .. Everyone ignores the elephant in the room & the destruction runs it’s course. As Christ followers we know 2 things at the very least. We all sin & Christ, who was without sin paid dearly for our sins. Sin demanded a sacrifice. A life for a life. So who are we to do this rebuke? We are relationship with Jesus. We are the church or we are protecting groundwork that God laid down. We should never act out of emotion ..not according to the bible. Someone or we are to protect God’s & we are not alone in doing this. Did God not leave us His Holy Spirit and His book for these last days? Our emotion reactor kicks in when we sense this may indeed be a problem. Then we are to put it through the filter of God’s word. Not just the rules.. that would be a mistake. The total script. At the end we have to call evil evil & good.. good. There is a time for everything under heaven so if, when the enemy tries to make a grab of our own.. & we can’t man up & call sin out.. & fight back then what the heck are we doing exactly?

Fear God  Just like anti-virus or meds when you have the flu.. we have to rebuke as quick as possible, in front of the audience that witnessed what was done publicly in order to do a body (of Christ) good. But what of the offended brother? Review: The sin was public. The rebuke was public. Therefore the come back can be epic! Inspiring many to come correct. Nothing better than to see a brother or sister (in the Lord)slay his/her demons, fully restored & right with God. Humility is key to recovery.

Unfortunately, many fail here. Instead of the humble comeback some/most bail & get bitter and/or depressed. Pointing fingers & whining, crying. Sad is that ol’ easy road. God Himself don’t want you to be that guy. He esteems us better than that. He loves us & ONLY allows us to be tore down so He…God can build us back up. Stronger. As the scripture says show no favoritism to no man. We are about God & His will. It is impossible to please both God & man. No one likes confrontation. We learned today that.. when you don’t confront sin, head on & right away.. the cost & damage can be too high. Pray, engage, encourage a Godly lifestyle.. then sit back & watch God restore, redeem, reconcile, re-create & do His new thing. This is why it is important to guard our heart’s, minds, actions & take up our cross daily. Too much blood spilled for the Christian church & too much ground work laid to let Satan have an inch. Tell that fool, the devil & His terror method called sin… “You ain’t welcome up in here!!!”  Jesus did this.. see Mat. 16:23 …Check it. Amen  ~Pastor Pete

TRIP LEE speaks on Trayvon SubjectShould We Move On?  I’ve kept up with the Trayvon Martin saga from the beginning. Like many of you I watched the news coverage, read the articles, and talked about it with friends. It dominated public conversation and provoked a much needed discussion about race in America. The ugly reality of racism was pushed in front of our faces, and even those who like to pretend it doesn’t exist were forced to talk about it.

Over a year later, Trayvon’s killer has been tried and found not guilty. Does that mean we should move on from the issues? They found him innocent, so these “race issues” must not be as real as we thought they were, right? That couldn’t be further from the truth. I have no intention of arguing about the facts, Trayvon’s character, or the verdict in this tragic situation, but I do think some discussion should continue. The trial is over, but the conversation shouldn’t be.

Why the Interest?   I know there are many who wonder why this particular trial has captured the attention of so many. Others wonder why some black folks are so quick to sympathize with Trayvon Martin, despite the fact that he had issues of his own. After all, none of us were there and we don’t know exactly what happened. While that’s true, I did find myself emotionally invested in the whole ordeal. I can’t speak for everybody, but I can tell you why I found myself sympathizing with Trayvon and the Martin family.

When I hear about a young black teenager walking home from the store, and the man who assumed he was a criminal before knowing anything about him, I can relate. You may not be able to. Maybe you’ve never been followed around in a department store by a security guard for no reason. I have. Maybe you’ve never had a convenient store clerk scream at you to leave, assuming that the blackberry on your hip is a gun that you plan to shoot him with. I have.

Maybe you’ve never smiled and greeted people you’ve passed on the street, only to have them avoid eye contact, clutch their belongings, and quickly walk away. I have. Maybe you’ve never been pushed against a wall, held at gunpoint, and handcuffed by police (who are supposed to protect you) because you “look like a suspect we were looking for.” I have (and I looked nothing like that suspect). All of these incidents are minor and none of them significantly threatened my life. Most, if not all, of my black friends have been through similar situations. And countless others have endured much, much worse.

If you’ve never experienced this sort of thing, you may not understand why this case resonates so deeply with us. But when I hear his story, I hear my story. And my father’s story. And my son’s story. I have no idea what happened after Mr. Zimmerman made assumptions about that young man, but before the altercation, there was nothing extraordinary about the incident. It happens every single day.

Profiling is real, and it’s often racial. Some people think they have the gift of discovering character just by looking at a person. Just like a dark blue uniform and badge means law enforcement, dark skin and a hoodie means lawbreaker. No conversation has happened, but an imaginary rap sheet is attached. Violent character is assumed. They think about the gangster image they saw on TV, or the danger their parents told them about, or the horrible crime they witnessed – and they place all of that baggage on a person they’ve never even met. We never have the right to draw unwarranted conclusions about a person– even if they do turn out to be troubled.

These kinds of assumptions are disgusting and false. God made all human beings in His image with value and worth. Yet all of us are sinful and fail to display God’s image as we should. Every single one of us can turn from our sins, trust Christ, and be made right by our Creator. But racism picks and chooses which people these truths should be applied to. Racism says, “I’m valuable and good, and all of those people are wicked.”

This prideful rebellion against God and opposition to His Gospel should be of interest to God’s people. We shouldn’t ignore it, and we shouldn’t be afraid to address it. The Good News is that Jesus came to die for both racist and non-racist sinners. Former enemies can become friends in Him, and benefit from the exact same grace. Who will step up, address this issue, and proclaim the truth? Whether or not you think race is a factor in this case, you can’t deny that race is a factor in the lives of so many of us every day.

What Do We Do Now?   So how should we respond? Maybe we should move on in one sense. Maybe we should stop arguing about the stuff we’re not sure about. We don’t know every single detail of that night; otherwise we would have been called as witnesses. And whJesus, teach us to pray...ether or not we like the verdict, it’s out of our hands.

Maybe we should stop arguing, and start praying. Pray for the families. Pray that God would keep His promise to send His Son to bring perfect justice. The Lord doesn’t need lawyers to argue their cases, and He doesn’t need evidence presented. He has no need for jurors to give Him their perspective. He sees all, knows all, and judges with perfect justice.

But in another sense, we most definitely should not move on. We should not stop talking about the racism that still lurks in our world. If you’ve experienced it, help those who haven’t experienced it to understand. Be patient with your friends as they clumsily seek to comprehend what you’ve gone through. And please don’t prove them right by fulfilling negative stereotypes. Trust Christ, and pray God would mold your character to look more like His.

If you’ve never been on the receiving end of racism, sympathize with those who have. Learn about their experiences. You can’t love someone if you ignore or belittle their concerns. Please never assume that people are just complaining and playing the “race card.” Seek to understand them, and respect the fact that some of us live in different realities and have to endure different trials.

Whatever you do, just don’t stop talking about it. ~article by Trip Lee

But Peter & the other apostles answered.. “We ought to obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:29

Am I your enemy because I share the truth with you?

Before we dig in, please understand this.. The thumb print of the Holy Spirit is, if it is truly a divine message from above will hear truth from the Bible, even hard to hear truth however, it will always be followed up by hope & a clear path back to God.. So I implore you to hear what the Spirit is saying & keep reading until the end of this message. I promise you that your eternal destiny depends on hearing the entire message, beginning to end. I only speak in love as I have been requested, by both family & dear friends to answer this subject from God’s word. I serve, so here it goes.

If Christ followers, such as myself hated gays then we would just shut up & let judgment come & have it’s inevitable day. Because we love you & are equally imperfect folk we speak up. We who do share Jesus with you truly wish to have you as our neighbor in paradise, not on the fatal side of wrath. This is why I say to both dearest brothers & sisters firstly, repent.

Does man have authority to alter what God created?

Does man have authority to alter what God says?

Repent?! Them’s Fightin’ words!: Nothing would please the devil more then this to be an ‘us vs. them’ thing. That ancient serpent is very cunning & well knows that if he can spin things that way then there will be a separation. A closed spirit by those listening, if you will. As many of us have learned in life when we separate no one wins but Satan. Misery loves company.. So this is not a win the argument discussion. I firmly believe in ‘Win an argument, lose a friend.’ I come out the Bible that our creator & redeemer is heard in these last times. Don’t be duped by the original lair. I do not want to lose you.

Also, to expose a very recent lie of the enemy.. & you can quote me on it: There is NO reputable Christian group actively seeking to separate homosexual couples. The TV & Media blitz tell a tall tale of Christian haters..but this is an ridiculous untruth. We have a few weirdos. Heck Islam is stuck with Al-Queda & we have some twisted nut jobs too. Unfortunately every group has their share of nuts. Embarrassing as it is to admit.. Christians are no exception. Haters do not represent Jesus. We are, by no means here to outlaw love but to battle lust & get you to the life source, Jesus ..please let me explain.

God does not wish to lose any of us: “Do u think that I like 2 see wicked people die? says the Lord. Of course not! I want them 2 turn from their wicked ways & live.” Eze. 18:23 NLT

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2Peter 3:9 NIV

What does Jesus say regarding God’s law?

If you love Me, keep My commandments.” “He who does not love Me does not keep My words; & the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” ~Jesus in John 14:15, 24 NIV

For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.” ~Jesus in Mat. 5:18 NIV

Didn’t He change His mind since then?:

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday & today & forever.” Heb. 13:8 NIV .. Clearly man changes with the times. God stays the same: “..the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change..” James 1:17 NIV ‘abridged’

We all sin and fall short (see Rom. 3:23) however, we are not to practice sin nor continue in it. The Apostle Paul was clear as can be on this (Grace vs. Law):”What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?” Rom. 6:1,2 NIV Sin separates us from God..

Remember Satan brought lawlessness (sin) into the universe therefore, he & everything he polluted the galaxy with must be utterly destroyed by fire. If not, purification can not happen for the New Heavens & the New Earth. You have heard it said, love the sinner, hate the sin. I truthfully tell you that in the end, God will not differentiate sinner from sin. If the lifestyle is separate from God, this will ultimately require an eternal separation from God & His people. “In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah & the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality & perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.” Jude 1:7 NIV

.. Sadly the pro homosexual churches hide this truth from their congregation. I would be doing you a great disservice if I did the same. Just can’t explain that one away friends. (for the S&G story see Gen. Chapter 19)

What does the law of God say regarding homosexuality?

“ ‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.” “ ‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.” Lev. 18:22 & 20:13 NIV God is equal & fair so the same would apply to women on women relations. Interesting that sexual relations between & animals is discussed in the same chapter as homosexual relations..

I know this is hard to hear but hang in there for hope,He (the Devil) has blinded their eyes & hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn—and I would heal them.” ~ Jesus in John 12:40 NIV

Back to our Creator:

Jesus confirms God’s intention when He created us: “‘Haven’t you read,’ He replied, ‘that at the beginning the Creator “made them male & female,” & said, “For this reason a man will leave his father & mother & be united to his wife, & the two will become one flesh?” So they are no longer two, but one‘” (Matt 19:4,6, NIV)

Was God’s natural intention for one man to be joined to one woman when He created us (see Gen. 2:18-25) ?

As seen there in Genesis 2, our creator intended at creation for woman to be with man to help & have a life partner type of relationship. He did not create a second Eden in which there were two male occupants nor two female occupants. Moreover, Jesus came back to redeem us back to Himself when we went astray..He died to seal the deal & He is coming back again to end Satan’s ‘do what you like’ kingdom (see Rev. 20, 2 & Corinthians 4:18).

The Bible said there’d be days like these: 2Timothy 3:1-4 “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God” God book said this would be our generations actions & it is happening now.

This is the most important point – Romans 1:24-27 “God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, & worshiped & served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, & receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.” Christ died for us because the price of sin is death (see & Romans 6:23). It is a gift of His deep love for us. If we do not accept that gift or refuse, ignore it, rebel.. you can imagine how God must feel about that. How would you feel if you did something big & got the vapors in response?

When questioned on the last days He said..”in the days before the flood, people were eating & drinking, marrying & giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark” ~Jesus in Mat. 24:38 NIV

It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating & drinking, buying & selling, planting & building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire & sulfur rained down from heaven & destroyed them all. It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.” ~Jesus in Luke 17:28-30

Why hasn’t God come out & said anything recently?: Rev 14:6-7 “Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earthto every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” Yes, in the last book of the Bible, Revelation God dropped us last day folks this gem. Read the lines but understand what is between those lines also.. Don’t trip on the term Angel.. here the word angel means ‘messenger’ or one who preaches from the everlasting gospel (The Bible).. GOD calls ALL of us back to worshiping the creator prior to His judgement.. and it is coming to earth real soon.

This is a lot of information, so much more to share & I realistically cannot cover exhaustively everything that God says on this subject today. You may say, “well that’s your opinion.” or, “your a hater & secretly have an agenda of your own.” Or, “that’s what you believe.” The best way I can respond is that I have studied God’s Word, have a personal relationship with Him & this is exactly what God says on this subject. So my opinion is irrelevant next to one who created us. My heart is to share Jesus with you & see you in relationship with God, who will always be there for you & see you make it to the pearly gates is my agenda. As I said first, if I hated I would stay silent and shame on me if I lied in any way.

My opinion, again.. irrelevant. God calls you today out of sin, no matter it’s form. He wants to give us so much more life. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you & not to harm you, plans to give you hope & a future.” Jer. 29:11 NIV

But if a wicked person turns away from the wickedness they have committed & does what is just & right, they will save their life. Because they consider all the offenses they have committed & turn away from them, that person will surely live; they will not die.” Eze. 18:27, 28 NIV

If we confess our sins, He is faithful & just & will forgive us our sins & purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar & His word is not in us.” 1John 1:9,10

Gay Marriage as defined by an openly gay man: I have family members & good friends who are homosexual. I love them without reservation & I’m glad to say that publicly to everyone. One of my wonderful ‘gay friends’ (he did not wish his name used but said it’s OK to share his story) summed all this up better then I can say: “I was born into a very devoutly religious home. My Mom would force me to go to church. Hated every minute. When I came of dating age, I liked the boys & so-so not girls. I tried to tell my Mom but she said I was confused. I then told her (as to this day) that this is a lifestyle I have chosen & I will not be attending church any longer. I have met my life partner and we have been together for 12 years. When I heard that they are trying to legislate gay marriage, I had to laugh. I know that I, a very gay man chose a lifestyle separate from God.. so why would I, in my right mind sit in front of a priest or pastor or whatever and take vows, get a ‘OK to pass go’ card? As mush as I love my homosexual community, they have gone completely retarded. I do not need a church validation of what I am choosing to do with my life that God gave me. From what I do understand, being gay is totally separate from God. Makes absolutely no sense.” I thank him for his bravery in sharing.

Marriage – noun (ˈmer-ij, ˈma-rij) “the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law” (Websters Dictionary definition)

Church and State are kept separated so that religious persecution can not rear its ugly head in America. If we legislate morality it is a breach of what our forefathers tried to put in place for our protection. Does the state make anything sanctified (holy) or God alone?

“ you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men” 1Cor.6:9 NIV. It may seem cold but if you think about it, one would not be happy in an environment where they cannot practice their lifestyle. God would be perceived by the gay community as a cruel & mean tyrant.. That is why this message is so vital & urgent to our eternity.

Mean words, hurtful legislation or violence against homosexuals is NOT a Christian action. To be plain, if a person is acting in a offensive manner he or she has departed from the faith & gone against representing Christ or anything divine. Christians must love & show love to ALL as Jesus did. Jesus left us a great example of how we should act toward our fellow man. The Bible is clear, no gray areas & the solution is so simple. So needless would be an eternal punishment as a direct result of not choosing God. Ultimately God has given us the freedom to choose . He does not force it on us. We must live with what we choose or the choice is made for us.

Jesus awaits you to come home with open arms.

Jesus awaits you to come home with open arms.

There is NO science behind ‘born this way’.. we all have a choice. God gave us a brain & a will. Why not chose faith? The world says, I’m OK, your OK. God’s Word says, “”If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isa. 8:20

Myself  & other loving Christians will (should) respect your choice. Christ followers have no magic wand to wave to change your mind. We wouldn’t be complete in not extending the same invitation that we received when we turned to God’s open loving & open arms.

Here I am! I stand at the door & knock. If anyone hears my voice & opens the door, I will come in & eat with that person, & they with me. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious & sat down with my Father on his throne. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Rev. 3:20-22 NIV

I will help & point the way heavenward. I will pray with you & am here for you. There will come a day soon when that door is closed, according to scripture. I personally & from my heart do not what you left behind. Share this message, more important share Jesus with someone you know & love today. Give them or yourself everlasting victory over the struggle. Jesus will make the impossible possible. Trust & see His love for you.

No room in the truck for your past when moving into your future. Leave it behind. Don’t Ever Look Back!

II Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Just for today.. Do not dwell on the anchors of the past that weight you down. Instead, pick your head up and look up at God.  He has carved a new path for you. There is no future in the past so why not jump into God’s word and see what your future holds.  Is it not God who holds your future?  Believe, trust and have faith in Him and His commandments to breath new life into you.  Old things are dead.  Everything you behold with your eyes is new.  Jesus did next. Embrace it. ~Pastor Pete
